As trekkers and a group of friends, we loved the convenient location behind the main station and the historic charm of the old building. The room was spacious and clean, with a comfortable bed. The breakfast choices were satisfying, with freshly baked goods. The option to choose our breakfast the night before was a nice touch. During our stay at Hotel Zur Alten Stadtkellerei, we were pleasantly surprised by the spacious and comfortable room. It had a small kitchenette, complete with a fridge, electric hob, and cutlery, which was a bonus for those who prefer not to eat out every night. The room and bathroom were impeccably clean, and the bed and pillows were comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep. The breakfast offered a great selection, including both continental and cooked options, along with good coffee and a variety of teas. We also appreciated the thoughtful touch of an "emergency kit" in the bathroom, which included a tampon and pad. The staff were friendly and accommodating, making us feel welcome throughout our stay.
